This is my favorite hot pot spot! I've tried famous hot pot places like haidilao, and honestly I can say this is better (and cheaper). The original broth is my favorite. It's umami, rich, and has a white pepper and bone broth taste. Whenever I visit Jersey I always come here at least once. We got the VIP selection and you can definitely tell the difference in quality of meat. The lamb was softer and the selection of beef's were fattier and noticeably higher quality. They also have other options such as shrimp paste, lotus root (my favorite), and premium drinks. If you can splurge a little bit more on the VIP selection I would definitely try it, though even if you don't splurge and get the regular option, the selection is super extensive with so many veggies, fish balls, noodles, appetizers, and sauces! Service was pretty quick, though if you need something you typically have to call over the waiter yourself. They interior is pretty modern and the establishment itself is pretty clean. During the weekends for dinner the parking will get a little crazy, so I would try to come earlier or during the weekday, but I've never not found parking in the big lot!

I recently tried the premium VIP package for $36.99 per person at Happy Lamb Hotpot, and overall, it was a decent experience. I truthfully didn't really enjoy the selections of the VIP package too much, there wasn't a lot that I particularly liked. I would probably do the House special next time. The selection at the bar was good, but I wish they offered more fruit options--only cantaloupe and dried clementines were available, and they seemed to have been sitting out for a while. While the candy was a fun touch for kids, I'd have preferred more fresh fruit to balance out the oil and salt from the hotpot. The broths, spicy and original, were enjoyable. However, the quality of the meat was a bit disappointing; some cuts were tougher than I expected. I was also surprised not to see any enoki mushrooms, which are a staple in hotpot. Service was mostly self-serve, and while our server didn't check in often, it wasn't a major issue. I'd consider returning when I'm in the mood for hotpot, but it didn't blow me away in terms of quality.

Came here for AYCE on a weekday lunch, where for just over $20, you can get a tasty hot pot meal. The $20 tier does come with regular lamb. There is a higher tier with higher quality meats, but it didn't seem to be to be worth the price differential (at least at lunch, as this tier does not have a lunch discount). I found the meat quality to be really good for AYCE. The pieces were not too fatty. The other good thing about the meat is that if you ask for larger servings, they actually give this to you (other places often just give a standard serving). I also appreciated that the non meat items were self service, so this way it was easy to get items without having to wait for a waiter to come take an order and then deliver. There really is a large variety of options available, so I think its great value (at lunch at least) Good service It is in the H mart plaza so parking can be chaotic

We celebrated my niece's birthday here. What fun! You get a large pot of boiling broth and cook your food family style. The staff is helpful in explaining what you need to do and are attentive in bringing replenishment of the meat. We ate here on a Wednesday evening, it was busy though not overly so. It was not loud, just the usual restaurant hum. You order the variety of meat, then go to the vegetable, shrimp and noodle bar to select (helping yourself) to augment the meat. We shared pork, garlic beef, lamb and another kind of beef. You can get a mild broth, a hot broth or a pot that has both. We also spun our own cotton candy for dessert. Recommended!

Happy Lamb Hot Pot will always be my favorite hot pot spot!! It's an AYCE set up with three different tiers (cold bar, if you want sliced meats, and then a premium meats category). I've always enjoyed the house special, which includes fatty beef and lamb, among others! It's about $33 per person on weekends, so about standard as other AYCE spots. What makes Little Lamb special is the broth!! It is consistently the most flavorful hotpot broth I've tried, and there is usually no need for other dipping sauces. I think there's also a great selection of vegetables, seafood, and other meats in the buffet set up as well. The service for ordering meat is efficient and friendly. I love coming here, especially with family and friends, and don't plan to stop!

Both me and my daughters first time at a Hot Pot establishment, and it was a really good experience. Our waiter was really helpful. He explained how the entire experience would go for us. So that was helpful. We chose the spicy and plain broth. If you don't like the heat, stay away from the spicy broth. The spicy has a big kick to it. But together in a cup, it was really good and calmer on the kick. I've never seen so much meat on one table. And we didn't even have the VIP platter. The lamb meat was my favorite of the measures we had. My daughter enjoyed the crab and shrimp. The pre-cooked rice and boneless chicken were really good. It was fun watching the Asians around me eating like they were at home. It was so cool to see. First, I felt like I was sheltered. Instead, I realized that I was not as food cultured as I thought I was. This establishment is located in a strip mall of other Asian restaurants. So I'll be back to try other places. Cause there was some great aroma in the air when we walked by different places. I recommend and suggest you come and just walk through. I'm sure you'll find something you like here.
